Founded in October 2020 by Kimberly (Kim) Winningham, Altamaha Agency is a premier independent insurance agency based in Jesup, Georgia. With a deep commitment to personalized service and community values, Altamaha Agency proudly serves the greater surrounding area, offering a wide range of insurance solutions including homeowners, auto, life, commercial, business, workers compensation, and umbrella policies.

Kim brings over 15 years of experience in the insurance industry, having earned her Georgia Insurance License in 2008 and spent a decade with Allstate. Her background in accounting from Polk Community College and her dedication to customer care have shaped the agency’s mission: to simplify the insurance process and provide tailored coverage that truly fits each client’s needs.

Originally from Texas and raised in Haines City, Florida, Kim moved to Georgia where she now lives in Odum with her husband Daryll. Together, they’ve built a life centered around family, faith, and the outdoors. Kim is a proud mother of two sons and a grandmother of three, and she enjoys fishing, hunting, and spending quality time with loved ones.

Her passion for community service is evident through her involvement with the Wayne County Chamber of Commerce—where she was honored as “Ambassador of the Year”—as well as her work with local organizations like the Wayne County Exchange Club, Shop with a Cop, and the Mud Bog and Golf Tournament fundraisers.
